Your Next Step

Choosing a church home and then becoming part of that church family are two big decisions that every Christian will make.  At Grace Family Church we want to provide people the opportunity to discover in a very clear way who we are and what we believe.   We provide this opportunity for discovery through our Discovery Seminar.

Our Discovery Seminar consists of five classes that together make up our Discovery Track.   We have designed these classes to be taken sequentially and your Discovery of Grace Family Church begins with our Discovery 101 Membership Class.  The remaining classes all reinforce and build on the core values that are discussed in our Membership Class.

Discovery 101-Membership
In this class you will discover the history, vision, values and beliefs of Grace Family Church. Some of the specific items covered will be the priority of God’s Word, the importance of Biblical worship, connecting through “Life Groups” and World Missions. Additionally, you will find out what it means to be a member of the Grace Family and how you can join us in fulfilling God’s will for the Treasure Coast and the world.
 
Discovery 201– Maturity
In this class we will present a biblical foundation and plan for sustained Christian growth.  All Christians should desire to grow in their spiritual walk, but may at times find themselves stagnant. You will discover the disciplines that are necessary in every believers life to allow for continual spiritual maturing.
 
Discovery 301-Ministry
In this class you will discover what ministry really is and who is responsible for it.  We will take a look at Christ’s example of servanthood and how scripture challenges us to be like Christ. We will also take some time to discover spiritual gifts: what they are, who has them and what we are to do with them.
 
Discovery 401-Mission
In this class we take a look at one of the most important roles of the Christian on this earth - to be salt and to be light! We are in God’s kingdom because someone was faithful to fulfill this call and share with us the good news of Jesus. We must be faithful to tell others about Jesus!
 
Discovery 501-Missions
In this class we focus on World Missions. In scripture Christ clearly commands his Church to “go into all the world”. God has developed within us a vision to do just that. We will cover what scripture says about world missions and share the passion that God has uniquely placed within our hearts to see a lost and dying world come into a relationship with the God of all the earth.
