Women's
Ministries
The
Women of Grace is an affinity ministry group aimed at
ministering to and mobilizing the women of GFC to serve the
purpose of God in our generation. Meetings, held on the
fourth Friday night of every month, are aimed at dealing
with the unique issues that women face in the world today by
taking a fresh look at Scripture. Through fellowship, small
group prayer and discussion godly relationships are formed
and support is given and received.
Vision
God desires each woman to be
filled with His purpose! A purpose that will glorify Him in
both our individual and corporate lives. A call that will
not only influence this generation for His kingdom, but for
many generations to come. Whether you function as a
full-time wife, mom, homemaker, business woman, medical
professional, or student, our focus is not on what you do,
but who you are in Christ!
The “Women Of Grace” desire to
see growth in the word with the knowledge of His will in
each woman’s life. Gaining from looking at the lives of
godly women such as Deborah, Esther, Ruth, and Mary, who
ultimately were devoted to God’s will for their lives, gives
us a great example to follow! These were women of destiny,
women of vision, women of influence, and women of power -
all because they knew their God !
WOG Special Meetings
Beginning on January 28th,
2011 and every 4th Friday of the month thereafter, we will
be meeting at the GFC Student Center for a WOG Fellowship,
meeting and Bible Study!
Here is an opportunity for
women to get together to be ministered to on a level that
other ministries cannot reach simply because these special
events are catered for their specific needs. There is often
a great level of expectancy which brings a great opportunity
for ministry physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Our conferences, whether
sponsored by Grace or another ministry, have also been a
wonderful time of worship, fellowship, relaxation and
getting acquainted with others.
Between WOG Meetings, WOG
Conferences and Life Groups, we pray that God would perfect
that which concerns us and that we might come to know the
hope for which God has called each one of us!
